cPanel can create a full account backup, but the cPanel user interface does not automatically restore that full archive.
Automatic full-account restoration is a WHM/server-administration function. This is different from partial backups, which cPanel can upload and restore directly.
If you only need to recover website files from a full archive, you can extract the archive locally, locate the content under its home-directory data, and upload the needed files through File Manager. Databases and other components should be restored with the appropriate cPanel tools rather than blindly copying the entire archive into the account.
