WP Toolkit can install, activate, deactivate, update, and remove WordPress plugins from cPanel.
- Open cPanel → Domains → WP Toolkit.
- Find the website and open its Plugins tab.
- Use Install to search for a plugin or upload a plugin package when that option is available.
- Use the plugin state control to activate or deactivate installed plugins.
- Install available updates from the plugin list or the site's update controls.
On an individual WordPress installation, plugins installed through WP Toolkit are normally activated after installation.
Removing a plugin
Deactivating a plugin stops it from running but normally leaves its files installed. Removing it deletes the plugin files. Some plugins also store data in the WordPress database, so removing the files does not necessarily remove every setting or record created by the plugin.
Use trusted software only. Avoid pirated or “nulled” plugins. Modified packages can contain malicious code and usually cannot receive legitimate vendor updates.
