How to Import Multiple Email Accounts or Forwarders Print

cPanel's Address Importer can create multiple email accounts or forwarders from a spreadsheet instead of entering them one at a time.

Supported import files

The current interface supports comma-separated value files (.csv) and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet files (.xls).

1. Prepare the spreadsheet with the fields required for the account or forwarder import.
2. Open cPanel → Email → Address Importer.
3. Choose whether you are importing email accounts or forwarders.
4. Upload the file.
5. Review delimiter/header detection and map columns carefully.
6. Review the resulting entries before completing the import.

For mailbox imports, use unique passwords and verify storage settings before creating the accounts.
