Create a separate cPanel email account when you want an address such as name@example.com to have its own mailbox.
- Open cPanel → Email → Email Accounts.
- Select Create.
- If the account has more than one domain, choose the correct domain.
- Enter the mailbox name in the Username field.
- Set a strong, unique password or use the password generator.
- Review optional storage and plus-addressing settings.
- Select Create.
Important account details
cPanel email addresses cannot be renamed after creation. If you need a different address later, create the new account or forwarder and then migrate or forward mail as appropriate.
The optional welcome message can provide mail-client configuration details that can be viewed from the new mailbox.
