Use cPanel's Email Accounts interface to update a mailbox password or its storage allocation.
- Open cPanel → Email → Email Accounts.
- Locate the email account.
- Select Manage.
- Use the security section to set a new password when needed.
- Review the storage section and set an allowed storage amount when the option is available.
- Save the changes.
After changing a mailbox password, update the saved password in every phone, computer, tablet, and mail application that connects to that address. Devices using the old password can continue producing authentication failures until their settings are updated.
Storage limits: An email account cannot use more space than the limits available to the hosting account. If a mailbox reaches its allowed storage limit, new mail may not be deliverable until space is freed or the mailbox allocation is adjusted.
