cPanel's Spam Filters interface uses Apache SpamAssassin to identify unsolicited email and assign spam scores.
Review spam filtering
- Open cPanel → Email → Spam Filters.
- Review whether spam processing is enabled.
- Review the threshold and available spam-handling options.
- Use allow/block controls carefully when available.
A lower threshold is more aggressive and can increase the chance of legitimate messages being classified as spam. A higher threshold is less aggressive.
When troubleshooting a missing message, check spam folders and filters before assuming the message never reached the server.
