How to Change a Database User Password Print

Database-user passwords can be changed from Manage My Databases.

  1. Locate the database user.
  2. Choose Change Password.
  3. Create a strong new password.
  4. Save the change.

Important: applications do not automatically learn the new password. Update the application's configuration immediately after changing the database password. For WordPress this information is normally stored in wp-config.php; other applications use their own configuration files or environment settings.
