How to Search for Files in cPanel File Manager Print

File Manager includes a search field for locating files by name.

1. Open File Manager.
2. Use the search menu to choose All Your Files, only public_html, or the Current Directory.
3. Enter the search term.
4. Run the search.

Double-click a matching result to navigate to the file or its containing directory. Searching by a distinctive part of a filename is often faster than manually expanding a large directory tree.
