Use Copy to duplicate content and Move to relocate it.
- Select the desired file or folder.
- Choose Copy or Move.
- Enter the destination path.
- Confirm the operation.
cPanel does not allow a direct copy of an item into the same folder under the same name. When moving application files, remember that configuration files can contain absolute or relative paths that may also need to change.
For important production files, keep a recoverable copy until the moved version has been tested.
