Open cPanel → Security → Hotlink Protection when the feature is enabled.
- Enable hotlink protection.
- Add the URLs that are allowed to reference protected files.
- Choose the file extensions to protect.
- Decide whether direct requests should remain allowed.
- Optionally configure a redirect for blocked requests.
- Save the configuration and test your own websites.
Include every legitimate domain or subdomain that needs to embed those assets.
