How to Password-Protect a Directory in cPanel Print

Use cPanel → Files → Directory Privacy when the feature is enabled.

1. Navigate to the directory and select Edit.
2. Enable Password protect this directory.
3. Enter a label for the protected area.
4. Save the security setting.
5. Create at least one authorized user for the directory.

The label is descriptive text stored in the configuration; it does not rename the directory.
