How to Restore a Single File with File and Directory Restoration Print

To restore one file from an available local backup:

  1. Open cPanel → Files → File and Directory Restoration.
  2. Enter the path or browse to the file.
  3. Choose Show Backups.
  4. Select the backup version you want.
  5. Choose Restore and confirm.

The restored backup copy can overwrite the current file. If the live file contains changes you may need, download or rename it first.
