When server backups and the feature are enabled, File and Directory Restoration can recover individual paths from local backup sources without restoring an entire Home Directory archive.
You can either enter a path relative to the cPanel home directory or browse the directory tree. The interface then lists available backup versions for the selected path.
This is often the safest choice when only one file or folder was deleted or damaged because it limits the amount of unrelated account data being changed.
