How to Edit a DNS Record in cPanel Print

To change an existing DNS record:

1. Open cPanel → Domains → Zone Editor.
2. Click Manage for the domain.
3. Locate the record and click Edit.
4. Change the required values.
5. Click Save Record or Save All Records.

When changing a record's type, cPanel preserves the existing data in the editing fields until you save. Review the values carefully because different record types require different data formats.

DNS caches can continue returning the previous value until their cached TTL expires.
