TXT records store text data used by many internet services. Common examples include domain verification and email-authentication policies.
- Open cPanel → Domains → Zone Editor.
- Click Manage for the domain.
- Add a TXT record.
- Enter the requested record name.
- Paste the exact text value supplied by the service.
- Save the record.
Validate the value carefully. cPanel's TXT record field can accept invalid data. Preserve required punctuation, spacing, and prefixes exactly as instructed by the service that provided the record.
