WP Toolkit Deluxe: cPanel's current feature matrix lists Security Rollback as a Deluxe feature.

Some WP Toolkit security measures can be reverted if a hardening change causes an unexpected compatibility problem. WP Toolkit identifies measures that support reversal; not every security measure can be rolled back.

Revert a supported security measure

  1. Open cPanel → Domains → WP Toolkit.
  2. Locate the affected WordPress installation and open its security details.
  3. Review the security measures that have already been applied.
  4. Select only the reversible measure or measures you need to undo.
  5. Choose the available Revert or rollback action and confirm it.
  6. Test the website after the change.

When multi-site security management is available, reversible measures can also be reverted across selected installations.

Rollback is not a backup. Some security measures cannot be reversed, and reverting a hardening setting does not restore unrelated files or database content. Maintain normal website backups before applying significant security changes.
