WP Toolkit is the WordPress management interface available inside cPanel. It provides one place to install, view, update, secure, back up, and manage WordPress installations associated with your hosting account.

What WP Toolkit can do

  • Install and detect WordPress websites.
  • Open the WordPress Dashboard using one-click login.
  • Manage WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates.
  • Install, activate, deactivate, update, and remove plugins and themes.
  • Configure automatic updates.
  • Use maintenance mode, debugging, password protection, and search-engine indexing controls.
  • Create and restore WordPress backups.
  • Check WordPress core-file integrity and review security information.

WP Toolkit Deluxe adds advanced functions such as staging and cloning, one-click hardening, security rollback, mass site management, and Smart Updates. Which controls appear depends on the features enabled for your hosting account.

Where to find it

In cPanel, go to Domains → WP Toolkit. If you manage more than one WordPress website in the same cPanel account, WP Toolkit can display them together.

Does it replace the WordPress Dashboard?

No. WP Toolkit manages the installation and technical side of WordPress. Use the WordPress Dashboard for pages, posts, menus, media, users, and most plugin-specific settings.
