Understanding Plugin and Theme Sets in WP Toolkit Print

WP Toolkit supports sets: predefined groups of WordPress plugins and themes that can be installed together instead of selecting each component separately.

cPanel's current WP Toolkit feature matrix lists Plugin and Theme Sets as a Standard feature. The exact sets and controls visible to a cPanel user depend on what has been made available in the server's WP Toolkit configuration.

Why use a set?

  • Install a consistent group of plugins and themes on a new WordPress site.
  • Apply an available set to an existing managed WordPress installation.
  • Reduce repetitive setup when several sites need the same baseline components.

Before applying a set

Review the components included in the set and create a backup when applying a large group of changes to an existing production website. A set can install multiple pieces of software at once, so each plugin or theme still needs normal compatibility and security review.

Availability: If no sets are offered in the WP Toolkit interface, there may simply be no sets currently published for your account to use.
