WP Toolkit's Copy Data function can copy WordPress files, database tables, or both from one managed installation to another when the feature is available.

Source data can overwrite target data. Create a current production backup and verify the source and target before starting.
  1. Open cPanel → Domains → WP Toolkit.
  2. Find the WordPress installation containing the changes you want to copy.
  3. Select Copy Data.
  4. Choose the target WordPress installation.
  5. Select Files Only, Database Only, or Files and Database.
  6. If copying the database, review the table-selection options carefully.
  7. Leave the restore-point option enabled when appropriate.
  8. Start the copy and test the target site afterward.

The target enters maintenance mode during copying. If the target WordPress version is older than the source, WP Toolkit can update the target first. If the source is older than the target, copying is stopped until the versions are compatible.

Use extra caution on stores, booking sites, membership sites, forums, or any live site whose database changes frequently. Copying older staging database tables can overwrite newer orders, accounts, submissions, inventory, or other production data.
