After a WordPress migration or domain change, the URL stored by WordPress may not match the website's actual location. WP Toolkit can compare and update the configured site URL.
- Open cPanel → Domains → WP Toolkit.
- Find the migrated website and open its additional actions.
- Select Update Site URL.
- Review the URL WP Toolkit proposes.
- If the existing and actual URLs differ, apply the correct URL.
- Test the website afterward.
Check the homepage, internal pages, WordPress login, images, navigation, forms, and HTTPS behavior.
Updating the WordPress site URL does not necessarily replace every old URL stored by themes, page builders, plugins, or manually entered content. Avoid blind database search-and-replace operations because WordPress can store serialized data that requires a serialization-aware replacement method.
