WP Toolkit hardening applies security measures intended to reduce common WordPress attack paths and unsafe defaults.
- Open cPanel → Domains → WP Toolkit.
- Find the website and open its Security information.
- Review the available security measures and their descriptions.
- Create a current backup before applying significant changes.
- Select the measures you want and apply them.
- Test the website afterward.
Some measures can be rolled back while others may not be easily reversible. Review each measure before applying it, particularly on sites with custom code or specialized plugins.
Hardening does not replace updates. Continue maintaining WordPress core, plugins, themes, credentials, and backups.
