Detach and Remove are very different actions in WP Toolkit.
Detach
Detaching removes the installation from WP Toolkit's management view but does not delete the WordPress website. The files and database remain in place, and a later scan can detect the installation again.
Remove
Removing is a destructive action that deletes the WordPress installation. Do not choose Remove simply because you want a site to disappear from WP Toolkit.
Detach an installation
- Open cPanel → Domains → WP Toolkit.
- Find the installation and open its additional actions.
- Select Detach and confirm.
Before removing an installation
- Verify the domain and installation path.
- Confirm that the website is no longer needed.
- Create a backup if the data may be needed later.
- Check for important uploads, submissions, customer data, or ecommerce records.
