How to Check DKIM, SPF, and DMARC in Email Deliverability Print

  • deliverability, dkim, dmarc, email, spf

The Email Deliverability interface checks mail-related DNS records that help receiving servers evaluate messages sent from your domains.

  1. Open cPanel → Email → Email Deliverability.
  2. Review the status for the domain.
  3. Select Manage to review DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and other available information.
  4. If cPanel controls the authoritative DNS zone and offers Repair, review the suggested changes before approving them.

What the records do

  • DKIM signs mail so recipients can verify the sending domain and message integrity.
  • SPF identifies servers authorized to send mail for the domain.
  • DMARC sets a policy based on aligned SPF and DKIM results and requires valid SPF and DKIM to function properly.

If the domain's DNS is hosted somewhere else, use the exact suggested DNS values shown by cPanel and add them at the authoritative DNS service. Avoid exposing a private DKIM key.
