Current cPanel versions provide an Account Preferences interface under Preferences. Available settings can vary by server configuration.
The interface can include account settings such as consent/privacy options, system-notification placement, and other account-level preferences. Newer cPanel versions can also expose password-changing functionality from Account Preferences.
- Open cPanel → Preferences → Account Preferences.
- Review the available sections.
- Change only the settings you intend to modify.
- Save the changes for that section.
These preferences affect the cPanel account interface; they do not replace website, email, or application-specific settings.
