Use SSH Access → Manage SSH Keys to remove access associated with an old key.
Deauthorize the public key to stop that key pair from authenticating without necessarily deleting the stored key record. Delete Key removes the selected key from cPanel.
When retiring a device or developer key, deauthorizing access promptly is more important than merely deleting a local copy of the key from one computer.
