SSH provides encrypted command-line access to a hosting account when shell access is enabled. cPanel's SSH Access interface also manages SSH key pairs.
SSH is an advanced access method. Commands run through SSH can modify or delete files directly, so use the least access necessary and verify paths before destructive commands.
The interface may be available even when the account's shell permissions are limited. Actual SSH login capability depends on the account and server configuration.
