A domain can reach the correct server but still show the wrong website. This is often a document-root or domain-configuration issue rather than a DNS issue.
- Confirm the domain resolves to the intended server.
- Open cPanel → Domains → Domains.
- Check the domain's Document Root.
- Confirm the expected website files exist in that directory.
- Check whether the domain was intentionally created with Share document root, which makes it serve the same content as another domain.
- Review any redirects shown for the domain.
Changing DNS to another IP will not fix a domain that is already reaching the correct server but mapped to the wrong local content.
