When Dynamic DNS is enabled:

  1. Open cPanel → Domains → Dynamic DNS.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter a unique subdomain and select the parent domain.
  4. Optionally enter an initial IPv4 or IPv6 address and a description.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Copy the generated webcall URL into the DDNS/custom update configuration on the router or device.

The device calls the webcall URL to tell cPanel when the public address changes.

Treat the webcall URL as a secret capability URL. Anyone who possesses it can trigger the protected DDNS update endpoint. Use encrypted HTTPS connections and do not publish the URL.
