cPanel Dynamic DNS (DDNS) lets a hostname in a cPanel-managed DNS zone follow the changing public IP address of an external network or device.
A typical use is a home or office connection whose ISP changes its public IP periodically. cPanel creates a DDNS hostname and a unique webcall URL. A router or device calls that URL whenever its external address changes, and cPanel updates the DDNS record.
The feature must be enabled and the domain must use the appropriate cPanel-hosted authoritative nameservers. If Dynamic DNS is not available in the cPanel feature list, its controls will not appear.
