Use the connection details shown in FTP Accounts to configure a third-party FTP client.
Typical settings include the server hostname, the full FTP username, the FTP password, and the appropriate secure connection mode supported by the server. cPanel can also provide configuration instructions for supported clients from the FTP Accounts interface.
If the cPanel account has a dedicated IP, the primary account may support additional FTP login behavior. For a separately-created FTP account, use the full username shown by cPanel rather than only the part before the @ symbol.
