Use the Two-Factor Authentication interface to replace an existing authenticator configuration or remove 2FA when those controls are available to the authenticated account.
Reconfigure replaces the existing setup. Current cPanel documentation warns that this invalidates the previous authenticator configuration and logs out other cPanel browser windows.
Remove Two-Factor Authentication disables the second-factor requirement for the account. Only remove it when that change is intentional.
