When two-factor authentication is enabled on the server, cPanel can require both the account password and a six-digit time-based code from an authenticator app.
- Open cPanel → Security → Two-Factor Authentication.
- Select Set Up Two-Factor Authentication.
- Scan the displayed QR code or enter the account/key information manually in the authenticator app.
- Enter the current six-digit code before it expires.
- Complete configuration.
After setup, the authenticator is required during cPanel login according to the server's 2FA policy.
