If DNS points a hostname to a different server, the browser can receive that other server's certificate even though cPanel shows a correct certificate locally.
- Resolve the hostname and confirm the returned IP address or service destination.
- Compare it with the intended hosting destination.
- Check both A and AAAA records.
- After correcting DNS, allow cached records to expire according to TTL.
This is a DNS-routing problem, not a reason to repeatedly reinstall the same certificate.
