AutoSSL is cPanel & WHM functionality that can automatically provision and renew domain-validated SSL certificates for eligible domains on an account when it is enabled by the server configuration.
AutoSSL verifies control of a hostname before issuing a certificate. That verification depends on the domain being able to satisfy the provider's domain-control validation requirements.
When AutoSSL is available, certificate status and errors are normally visible in SSL/TLS Status. AutoSSL is designed to reduce manual certificate maintenance, but it still depends on correct DNS, reachable validation paths, and eligible hostnames.
