cPanel’s Domains interface can force HTTP requests to HTTPS, but the option is available only when the domain and certificate state meet the interface requirements.
- Confirm the affected entry is a domain for which the Force HTTPS Redirect control is supported; cPanel does not show the toggle for aliases.
- Confirm the domain has a valid SSL certificate.
- Review SSL/TLS Status for certificate or AutoSSL problems.
- Verify DNS points to the server that is expected to serve the certificate.
- Resolve certificate/DNS problems before adding manual redirect rules as a workaround.
A redirect cannot make an invalid certificate valid; HTTPS must work correctly before HTTP traffic is forced to it.
