How to Create Custom Error Pages in cPanel Print

cPanel's Error Pages interface can customize the HTML returned for HTTP error status codes such as 404.

  1. Open cPanel → Advanced → Error Pages.
  2. Select the domain.
  3. Choose an error code.
  4. Enter the message or HTML.
  5. Save the custom page.

A custom error page changes what visitors see; it does not fix the underlying condition that caused the error. For example, a custom 404 page does not restore a missing file.
