cPanel Email Deliverability checks mail-related DNS records that receiving systems use to evaluate sender identity and policy.
- Open cPanel → Email → Email Deliverability and select the affected domain.
- Review DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and reverse-DNS/PTR sections for reported problems.
- Make DNS changes at the authoritative DNS provider. If cPanel is not authoritative, a record entered only in the local cPanel zone will not change public DNS.
- Do not create duplicate or contradictory SPF policies.
- Remember that PTR records are controlled by the owner of the sending IP address, not by an ordinary domain-zone TXT/A record.
Authentication records improve trust signals but do not guarantee that every recipient will accept every message.
